All of our clients have been court ordered to participate in the UPS program as a part of the Restorative Justice principles and practices. Court ordered community service work can and should be beneficial for all parties: the community agency, the courts, the program and the client. All clients pay an assessed fee before being assigned to work UPS hours. This fee in part covers a limited liability insurance through BI.

North Range Behavioral Health is a comprehensive community mental health center and substance use disorder treatment agency for Weld County. Services range from inpatient treatment to office-based outpatient and in-home treatment for Weld County residents of all ages. It offers a full range of alcohol and drug counseling services. Programs include detoxification, adult residential, youth services, women services, family services and offender specific treatment.

  • Residential Treatment program provides 45 days of intensive treatment to men and women 18 years of age and older. Residents are provided with structure and life skills training that help them build a healthy life and re-engage in their communities.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program is a 12-week treatment program that offers intensive treatment for adults who have significant problems in their lives because of the use, abuse, or addiction to alcohol or drugs.
  • Drug Treatment Court integrates substance use disorder and mental health treatment as well as intensive supervision and judicial oversight to promote recovery and individual responsibility, to reduce crime, and to improve the quality of life for participants and their families.
  • Family Treatment Court helps families reunite or stay together while addressing substance use disorders and mental illness.
  • Crisis in Stabilization (970) 347-2290  Year round, 24X7 therapists are available to provide immediate emergency intervention and respond to emergency calls. Services include individual counseling, medication monitoring, case management, group counseling, management of withdrawal and discharge and after care planning.
  • Acute Care Services (970) 347-2290 This facility is a 23-bed, non-medical, social setting detoxification clinic serving a 12 county area of northeastern Colorado. Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The length of stay varies based on individual needs. It provides an environment for safe detoxification from drugs and alcohol and specialized assessment.
  • South County Program (303) 857-2723  120 First Street, Fort Lupton, CO The North Range Behavioral Health satellite offices in Fort Lupton offer an array of culturally competent outpatient behavioral health services for people who have mental and substance use disorders. The South County offices are the primary outpatient treatment sites for individuals who live in the southern part of Weld County. Services include individual, family, and group therapy and alcohol and drug assessments.
  • Littler Prevention Campus (970) 347-2120 Free prevention services are offered at the NRBH Littler Prevention Campus. Weld County residents have access to great programs like Suicide Education & Support Services, Family Connects and Project Launch – which helps parents identify challenges early in a child’s development and receive parenting education and skill building.

SESS is dedicated to suicide prevention and education as well as supporting those who have lost a loved one to suicide. It provides resources to prevent suicide and support to those who have lost someone to suicide.

The Platte Valley Youth Services Center is a 120 cell co-ed secure institution operated by the Colorado Division of Youth Corrections located in Greeley Colorado. It has a secure detention holding for youth from ages 10-18. Offenders are put through a diagnostic program in their first 30 days to pinpoint their exact needs. Platte Valley provides therapy, counseling, substance abuse treatment, medication management, education services and gender specific programming.

Youth & Family Connections (YFC) is a non-profit, community based service organization which provides coordinated, multi-agency services for youth struggling with life issues, engaged in at-risk behavior or violating community standards or laws. Through prevention and intervention strategies, comprehensive assessments, case management and coordinated access to services, youth (and their families) are offered positive alternatives for growth and support. YFC also provides services and support through the Teen Pregnancy Prevention & Support Program, the Truancy Response & Intervention Program (TRIP) and the Weld Mentoring Network.
